This policy explains what Get Blinds Direct collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Get Blinds Direct (previously DFW Window Coverings), 2244 Luna Road, Ste 120, Carrollton, TX 75006.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into our quote form. That is:

• Your first and last name
• Your phone number and email address
• The ZIP code of the property
• How many windows you have and which products interest you
• Any notes you choose to add
• Whether you opted in to text message updates

We do not ask for payment details on this website. We do not run advertising trackers or sell data to anyone.

Why we collect it

To do the thing you asked us to do: prepare an estimate, contact you to schedule a free in-home measurement, and quote your project. We also use it to answer your questions and, if you buy from us, to fulfil and support your order.

Where it goes

Quote requests are stored in Google Forms and Google Sheets, and an automated estimate email is sent to you through Google's email service. Google processes this information on our behalf under their own terms. We do not transfer your information to any other third party except where we need to in order to complete your project, or where the law requires it.

Text messages

The SMS box on our quote form is optional and unchecked by default. If you tick it, you are agreeing to receive text messages from us about your appointment and your order. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect your quote or your order, and we will still contact you by phone or email.

We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for as long as we may reasonably need them for business and record-keeping purposes. If you would like your information deleted, email us at support@getblindsdirect.com and we will remove it, unless we are required to keep it — for example, records relating to a completed sale.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you gave us. Email support@getblindsdirect.com or call the number below. If you are a Texas resident, you may have additional rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act; we will honour valid requests under it.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
